Splash of Red - Submissions

We accept here poetry, fiction, non-fiction, art, graphic narrative unpublished book excerpts. All submissions should be sent via email to submissions[at]splashofred.net. We accept no mail submissions. All submission subject headers should read your last name [dash] genre. Example: Smith-Poetry. Place all submissions in the body of the email. No attachments please. Include your name, address, email, and phone. Also, let us know if this is a simultaneous submission and if it gets published elsewhere. We only accept unpublished work. Please note that due to the volume of submissions, you will only be contacted if your work has been accepted or if we have further inquiry. If you are concerned, please email us and we can give you an updated response.

For poetry, please send no more than 5 poems. They can be single space.

For prose, please send no more than 2 per year. These should be double space.

For art, please send work as jpegs and you may send up to 6 individual pieces.

For graphic narrative, please send work as jpegs, shorter length, up to 4 individual pieces.

*Also, feel free to submit any artwork pertaining to "splash of red" (appropriate please) to be published in the Red Gallery. These can be any form of artwork sent as a jpeg inspired by a splash of red. Put in the header your last name [dash] red gallery. Please send as many as you would like.

Also, please let us know how you heard about us so we can continue to spread the splash around.
